Norman Lurens 

​

Norman is an experienced motorcyclist with over 40 years of riding bikes both professionally and for fun. Having run his own training school for nearly 20 years he is able offer bikers the opportunity to take their riding skills to a higher level.

​

Norman is a DVSA (Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency) qualified instructor as well as completing a qualification with RoSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) which he passed at a GOLD level. Norman also has a RoSPA diploma which allows him to teach advanced training and is our Chief Instructor for the Company.

From beginners to experienced riders wanting to improve, whatever level of help, advice or coaching you are looking for, Norman can provide the most thorough and professional training.

Charlie Hack

​

Charlie joined the team in December 2021 and has now complete his training to become a fully qualified CBT and DAS instructor.

 

With all his training done within Dorset Advanced, Charlie has encompassed the same ethos and professionalism as the rest of the team.

​

Charlie comes from a background of instructors which has enhanced his knowledge, understanding and passion for motorcycles, training and riding as well as a wealth of knowledge about the mechanics of motorcycles.

Kevin Long 

​

Kevin joined Dorset Advanced in 2022 as our maintenance technician having got back into biking in 2021 following a 30 year break from it. 

​

Being trained by Norman and Charlie in 2024, Kevin is now our newest CBT Instructor. 

​

From previously working in a school and coaching children's football Kevin has the knowledge and understanding of training as well as as a passion for motorcycles, having owned 5 different bikes just since 2021. 

​
